This one-of-a-kind 3×3 hinged box is crafted entirely from enameled U.S. pennies, with all Abraham Lincoln heads facing outward. Each penny is filled with vibrant, transparent kiln-fired glass enamel, creating a striking, colorful checkered rainbow pattern across the surface.
Part of the Enameled Penny Rubik’s Cubes series, each cube is handcrafted from circulated, pre-1982 U.S. pennies—solid copper coins that are often overlooked or discarded. The surfaces are kiln-fired with vibrant vitreous powdered glass enamel, transforming these humble coins into bold, colorful sculptures.
