Morgan Sims is an artist based in Philadelphia, PA, whose work explores the intersection of abstract and figurative forms through painting and mixed media. Using bold colors and dynamic compositions, Sims engages with themes of identity, memory, and personal history.

Sims earned his MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his BFA from the University of Washington, Seattle. His work has been included in public and private collections, both nationally and internationally. Sims’ practice is rooted in a deep exploration of materiality and form, with a focus on the emotional resonance of color and texture. Through his work, he reflects on the complexities of human experience and the ways in which our pasts shape our perceptions of the present.
